Bay Area Women in Film & Media Committees and Committee Members:
MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE:
This Committee is involved with publicizing and marketing BAWIFM as an organization and all BAWIFM events which may include:
- Publicizing BAWIFM as an organization and all BAWIFM events
- Updating and maintaining on-line calendar listings
- Writing and distributing the quarterly BAWIFM newsletter
- Coordinating co-presentations of screenings, film festivals, etc.
- Writing and updating copy for all website materials
- Writing and distributinjg press releases as needed
- Developing and implementing proper usage of BAWIFM branding, including: logo, slogan/log-line, banners & signs, etc.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:
This Committee is involved directly with administrating and growing our Membership Base which includes:
- Answering member and potential member questions in person and via
"victoria@bawifm.org"
- Processing all membership requests via on-line, paper or in person
- Collecting dues and event fees and delivers them to the Treasurer after each event
- Getting a head count at all events for BAWIFM records
- Community outreach
- Managing the RSVP lists for all events and brings them to the site
- Reviewing and and defining the membership costs, benefits, etc. and presents their recommendations to the Board
- Updating the automated Welcome Letter email for new members who register on-line
- Developing and distributing Membership and Event surveys and tallies results

DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE:
This Committee is involved directly with fundraising & sponsorship development which may include:
- Fundraising including researching and writing grants
- Auctions
- Raffles (Note: we do have a raffle license)
- Reviewing grant applications if/when BAWIFM grants funding
- Seeking and maintains positive co-sponsorships for events, workshops, etc.
- Seeking and maintains positive business partnerships
- Including a restaurant partnerships that would supply food and beverage for our monthly meetings
- Coordinating food and beverage pick-ups if needed
- Coordinating and delivers business and co-sponsorship logos, marketing materials,
website links, etc. to the appropriate committees for proper publicity,
as dictated by the co-sponsorship and partnership agreements

PRODUCTION COMMITTEE:
This committee is involved with technical aspects of filming or producing events and is currently in transition which may include:
- Providing event and media technical support and/or assistance
- Producing and editing current and archived projects, panels, etc. as determined by Board
- Producing and editing new content for BAWIFM website. This can include: highlights of archived panels or projects, member or new project spotlights, a 3-5 minute promotional video of BAWIFM which can be updated as needed

WEB COMMITTEE
- Liaising with Wild Apricot, etc. to produce, host and update the BAWIFM website
- Designing, developing and updating the BAWIFM website
- Posting marketing, production and membership materials as needed on the BAWIFM website
- Posting and/or maintaining the online media. This may include: membership/talent directory, member spotlights, featured projects, user-created content (provided all licenses and releases are current)
